ARTISTIC DIRECTOR
Lauren Holler: director, choreographer, dancer
Lauren is a dancer and attorney from Cleveland, Ohio. She graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University with a B.A. in Dance Theatre and Politics&Government with an Economics Management minor in May of 2015. Lauren attended the American Dance Festival in Durham, North Carolina during the 2015 summer where she premiered new work at the Student Concert. She's trained with many dance professionals including Maria Bauman, Michelle Gibson, and Jesse Zaritt. Her credits also include participating in Ohio Wesleyan’s NYArts Program interning with Battery Dance Company. and performing for various artists in NYC. She also danced professionally with Columbus Contemporary Dance Company from January 2012 to December 2014.
Lauren's Cleveland credits include dancing as a company member with MadJax Dance Company, dancing as a Trainee with the Movement Project, choreographing for Cleveland Dance Project, and dancing for many independent artists including Rebecca Burcher, Irene Honora, Madi Jackson, and Asia Anderson. She also frequently substitute teaches at her home studio, Revolutions Dance Academy, where she grew up as a competition dancer, and later studio teacher, under the direction of Lisa and Tricia Bires. Outside of dance, Lauren cross-trains with Towpath Crossfit and is a member of the barbell team at T3 Performance.
She graduated from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in December of 2019 and received her Masters of Public Administration in 2020 from Cleveland State University, concentrating in nonprofit organizations. She is very passionate about impacting her direct community and practices law primarily advising small, family-owned business. In her choreography, Lauren is interested in using dance as a mechanism for social relatability and enjoys bringing political theory to the stage. She hopes to continue exploring the interrelations between public policy, law, and dance in the Cleveland community and beyond.

Rachel L. Mulholland: choreographer, dancer
Rachel Mulholland is a modern dancer originally from Pittsburgh, where she studied Filipino folk dance and danced competitively. Rachel attended Case Western Reserve where she studied Graham and Hawkins based modern technique, choreography, and dancer wellness and also performed works by Mark Morris, Larry Keigwin, Shannon Sterne, and Karlie Budge.Rachel made her debut as a Cleveland choreographer with the Cleveland Dance Project, premiering solo and group works and also performing in dances by other members. She teaches and performs with Fire & Light Performing Arts and could be seen in local events such as Ingenuity Fest, Bright Thought’s EmpowerU, The Movement Project’s Cleveland Dance Festival: Emerging Works Concert, CMA’s Parade the Circle, and Maelstrom Collaborative Arts’s Bricolage. Rachel is also a project engineer with Shook Construction.

Brittany Sterling: choreographer, dancer
Brittany Sterling moved to the Cleveland area from Lima, Ohio in 2009 to attend Baldwin Wallace University, where she completed her undergraduate studies in Communication Disorders and Dance. During her time at BWU she ran track, performed with the dance team, and participated in yearly dance concerts. Brittany continues to reside in Cleveland working as an Autism/Behavior Interventionist. She is also studying for her master's degree in Mental Health Counseling specializing in Dance Therapy through Lesley University. In the meantime, she enjoys working on her craft and becoming involved in various movement/dance related projects.

Rachel Torowski graduated from Cleveland State University with her BFA in Dance, Creative Process, and Performance in May 2019 studying under Lynn Deering, Lisa Decato, and Christine Dicello. She was a member of Cleveland State Dance Company where she performed a variety of styles every year at the Allen Theatre Main Stage Playhouse. Rachel had the amazing opportunity to be a part of The Creative Fusion of Cuban and Cleveland Dance Artists Grant, where she studied about Cuban dance styles and worked with the Malpaso Dance Company. Recently, Rachel has been doing performances all around Cleveland including dancing for Levity Dance and Physical Theater, Akane Little, and Expedition Dance.

Anastazia Vanisko: choreographer, dancer
Anastazia Vanisko is a community organizer and dancer in Cleveland. She began dancing at the age of 12 in Helena, Montana, where she practiced mostly ballet. In 2013, she moved to Cleveland to attend Case Western Reserve University. There, her dance studies shifted to modern dance, with a strong emphasis on Graham technique. In 2017, she graduated from CWRU with her Bachelors of Arts degrees in political science and dance, and she is excited to become more involved with the Cleveland dance community!
